A comic I colored called Revenge of the Homicidal Pumpkins is competing at Zuda this month. I'd love it if you could check it out and send us a vote or a favorite if you like it. Also the art is by the amazing Iwan Nazif. He adds so much detail to his work. It's incredible. The story was written by Shannon Cronin and is my first foray into horror. It's kind of a funny outlandish horror comedy. So check it out, you know you wanna. A quick warning... this is a horror comic and there is some blood. I know most of my visitors here are in your teens or your parents yourselves so I'm not to worried about it, just figured I'd post a warning.

So just figured I'd post a quick entry here with a link to my website. I've seemed to pretty well disappeared from this site and you can see why by reading my blog over there. I tend to keep a running commentary on all of my comic work and such. I'm a comic colorist in case you weren't aware. I've also included a section on a coming comic project of mine. Something that has been int he works for a while now. Inspired by this site as a matter of fact. The comic is called Faerie Stories and is really starting to come together. So eventually I'll be back here and updating, for now I'm a busy bee.

Anyone interested in helping me add new content to Tinker Bell's Nook? I am so far behind and when I switched hosts I pretty much lost all of my old files. Due to bad planning on my part and the fact that I got a new computer this year and forgot to backup my old files. So I'm rebuilding from scratch and with such little time I'm having a hard time. So if your at all interested in submitting articles, information, or anything at all to the site. Shoot me an email at lisa@tinksnook.com You can tell just by surfing around the sections of the site what needs help. I'd really like to build up the birthday and fairies section a lot. Finally some progress. The history section is now complete and all of the pages are working. Yes, I actually got something done this week! Next up the birthdays section. I'm not sure if I will be able to finish it today or not, but I'm going to try. I've decided that when I get all of the pages fixed on the site I am going to hold some sort of contest. So if you have any ideas for the contest please just send me an email or post a comment here. By the way, I just noticed that my email address lisa@tinksnook.com has been down since I switched hosts. So if you have tried to email me in the past few months and I havn't answered you that is why. So I'm going to set it back up right now. So as some of you may have noticed, I have kept the feature in the gallery that will allow users to upload thier own photos. So if you have any desire to create your own mini tink themed gallery in the gallery section just register and you should be able to make your own. I'm still working out the kinks, but it should be working. A note - please refrain from posting any pictures that are not suitable for all ages. Also, try to limit you posts to pictures of Tink and other things Peter Pan related. You can post a couple pictures of yourself if you like, but please don't turn it into a gallery of just you. That is what MySpace is for... :)

So to register, just go to the gallery and in the right hand top corner there is a register link. Then sign up and start uploading! ^_^ I figured this would be a great way to get a bunch of new awesome pictures in the gallery when I don't have time to go in search of pictures myself. So hopefully it will work out. For now I don't have to approve every picture, but I will be checking in here at least twice a week to see the sort of things that are being uploaded. If I see it being taken advantage of I'll have to start approving everything. So for now enjoy the freedom, he he

So today I managed to get the home pages for every section finished up. The links on those pages don't go anywhere yet, but I should be able to get some more work on the sub pages of the history and fairies sections done tomorrow. I hope to anyway. The only section that is still completely blank is the Arcade. It shall return, I promise! So for now you can at least go look at each section of the site and see what will eventually be there, lol

So I figure any progress is good, and I might as well report it here on the main page. Since it is so darn easy to post updates now! Yes, I am very happy I decided to make the leap to a content management system. Now that things are starting to really take shape I'm getting excited about adding new things to the site. ^_^ Anyway, I guess that is it for now. Check back tomorrow night for more updates!

Yeah, a bit more progress! Slowly but surely I'm putting the site back together. I'm going to try and get at least one section fixed back up every day this week. The arcade is most likely going to be the last thing I set back up. It is the most time consuming part, I'm going to do it a bit differently this time though. So maybe it won't take as long this time. Next up I think I'm going to get the History and Fairies sections back up. Wish me luck!

So after much, much frustration, and hours consumed by me nearly pulling my hair out due to stress the gallery is back up and running. It is much harder figuring out how to get things integrated into this new content management system. Though I think in the long run it is going to pay off. I love the new gallery I think it looks really nice in the site. It just took ages to figure out because along the way I messed up a bit of the code and the whole site stopped working. Not a fun thing to have happen, lol

But it is finished and it is super easy to add things to the gallery. So once the rest of the site is fixed up I'll work on adding new pictures. The coloring section is also complete, since it is just an extension of the gallery. So yes, 2 links that actually work! Horray! ^_^

Hazzah! Some progress today. I got the top menu figured out, the links are not working yet of course because those pages haven't been created just yet. I'm just happy to have figured out how to get my own links up there and keep the cool green hover thing when you mouse over the links. So yeah, I'm happy. Now I'm off to try and sort out a gallery for the site. Slowly but surely!

As I'm sure you've noticed the site is currently in a complete shambles. I'm trying to get the site changed over to a nice new content management system that will make the site much more user friendly and easier for me to update. So hopefully a couple more weeks and the site will be back up and running. I'm really gonna try anyway. So keep checking in. Tinker Bell's Nook will be back!
